Appliances: creativity

This is a very simple but very effective team building exercise. It is often used as an Ice Breaker or a fill in when another team exercise has been completed.

The teams are told that the instructor has just moved house and all the household appliances have been lost. The task is simple- to create a household appliance out of nothing but themsleves!

This is an excellent task for encouraging trust, creativity and interaction. The best appliance we have had so far is an electric toothbrush!
